Really guys, how much are we going to take of this abuse? It's becoming as issue, as you can see. It's never okay to abuse anyone, but when role models and heroes are all the sudden committing a felony, you really know its bad. In my opinion, they should treat them the same as someone who lives on the street. ABUSE IS ABUSE. No matter who is doing it. If found guilty, they should be off their teams and sentenced just like everyone else.
If you or someone you know is being abused call the National Domestic Violence Hotline for help. 1-800-799-7233

Due to social status some people aren't treated equally. Due to him being famous and having of money they take him and put him above regular people. If another man beat his wife they would make sure he is punished to the full extent. Whats the difference in this case? Due to him being famous he only got off with a '' slap on his hand' and that's it. I feel sorry for the wife knowing she cant put him away due to his wealth. Some people don't deserve to have the title and wealth that they take for granted.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree! Football players, celebrities, and other famous people should not get special treatment just because they make a lot of money. Yes, since they have loads of money to spend they can pay for the best lawyer, but they should be prosecuted just like anyone else. If a regular adult male beat or abused their wife, they would be charged to the fullest extent of the law. Just because of their high social status, doesn't not mean they should get special treatment.
