I once read an article about how animals drink their water and how they become so thirsty. I personally think that dogs and cats are much smarter than we really think. If dogs can figure out how to drink water, they must be smart.
Scientists have recently come to the conclusion that humans use the suction method. We suck in with our mouths and our cheeks pretend like vacuums. Dogs on the other hand can not really do that. So they have a different method. Dogs always have their tongues out so, when they are thirsty, they just scoop it up with their tongues. I think that is why dogs make such a mess when they are drinking water. Some of the water spills out and gets all over the place. Cats also use their tongues to drink water, but they aren't as messy.
Why do you think dogs are much more messy drinkers than cats?

Maybe it's because dogs have a bigger mouth. Cats have a sma mouth so it's eaisier for them tho drink and not make a mess. I love this article Kacie! I love how your blog isn't only in one topic it's full of variety and so much creativity. Good job on this article and good topics.
